What Customers Say About Nikon Coolpix S210 8.0MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Graphite Black):

I am very happy with my purchase. It is very easy to use. I love my new camera. It is very small, takes wonderfully clear pictures, and has a great size screen.
I got Black so it has no reflections from the sunwhen I take photos of people. This model is the best digital camera I have seen under $ 125looks similar to the Casio a family member has only my Nikonhas smaller lcd screen, otherwise, they are almost identical.wonder if Casio makes these for Nikon.Get one today.
The bottom line is that you can't beat this little camera for the price. I bought this as a gift for someone on my list but after it was opened I found myself using it. This is a really nice little camera and takes very nice photo's for a point and shoot. My only complaint would be the delay between when you push the button and when it takes the pic, but as with any point and shoot you will get this delay so I'm not going to knock it.
It takes pictures with great quality. It's a great and compact camera. Takes great pictures, specially in outdoors.
Hence the 3 star rating. For a camera primarily designed for still pictures, the Coolpix camera does a decent job with video. with flowers and butterflies), you can expect your subject to be completely fuzzy and out of focus. For photos, I'd give it only 2 stars.
I had hoped that disabling the flash (to get rid of the pre-flash) would eliminate this problem, and while there is a slight decrease in the delay, it's not enough to make a big difference. In addition, there are problems with the auto-focus. This is also a problem in low-light conditions with photos that aren't close-up.Sure, this camera can take some decent pictures, but if you want to take pictures at sporting events, animals, low light conditions and close-ups, DON'T GET THIS CAMERA. It has some nice functions for focusing on faces, but if you like to take close-ups (as I do with my nature photography.
I received my Coolpix L18 as a birthday gift. There is a shutter lag of nearly two seconds, which is plenty of time for a moving object to leave the field of the viewfinder or change to an undesirable position. You will only develop a lot of frustration.
For video, considering what the camera is (a portable webcam), I'd give it 4 stars. If you're a video blogger, or just want something small that can fit in your pocket, then the Coolpix camera might be for you.HOWEVER, if you're taking photos of anything other than stationary objects, you will find this camera to be quite frustrating.
